Restore a girl’s confidence, Zambia Youth Parliament for Water
The recent floods in Lusaka have left many communities devastated, with homes, schools, and critical infrastructure. Among the most affected are orphanages, even homes in shanty compounds ,where vulnerable children now face not only displacement but also an urgent need for basic necessities.
As the Zambia Youth Parliament for Water, we stand in solidarity with all those affected. While we continue advocating for sustainable water solutions, we recognize that immediate action is needed. In light of this crisis, we are prioritizing our "Pad a Girl" donation drive to support orphanages and few homes impacted by the floods.
Access to menstrual hygiene products is already a challenge for many girls , . We believe no girl should have to choose between dignity and disaster. Therefore, we are appealing to individuals, organizations, and well-wishers to support this initiative through donations of sanitary pads, hygiene kits, and other essentials.
