South African Youth Parliament for Water

Last week, the South Africa Youth Parliament for Water (RSAYPW) took part in the Department of Water and Sanitation Youth Indaba, hosted by Lepelle Northern Water,from 22-25 July in Polokwane, Limpopo - under the theme "๐“๐ก๐ž ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฐ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐ข๐ง ๐€๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฌ๐จ๐œ๐ข๐จ-๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐œ ๐ ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ž๐ฆ๐จ๐œ๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ฒ". Such dialogues are important to bridge the gap between the learners, youth, graduates, senior members of the water and sanitation sector and decision-makers.

On day 1 we took part in a panel session titled '๐˜๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜จ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ข๐˜ญ ๐˜‹๐˜ช๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ๐˜จ๐˜ถ๐˜ฆ - ๐˜ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ ๐˜ˆ๐˜ค๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ๐˜บ ๐˜Œ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฃ๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ค๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜š๐˜ฐ๐˜ค๐˜ช๐˜ฐ-๐˜Œ๐˜ค๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ๐˜ช๐˜ค ๐˜จ๐˜ข๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ด ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ณ ๐˜‹๐˜ฆ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฐ๐˜ค๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ค๐˜บ ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ž๐˜ˆ๐˜š๐˜ ๐˜š๐˜ฆ๐˜ค๐˜ต๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ'. In attendance at the Indaba were some familiar faces, other RSAYPW members, who were representing other organisations and institutions. We are extremely proud and we hope you keep the movement going! A special congratulations to Ms Mmakgomo Ria Malatji, who was an integral member of the planning committee from Lepelle Northern Water ๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿ’ง
